Frequently Asked Questions

Wondering if this is the right step for your pet? Here is everything you need to know.

Animal naturopathy is a complementary health approach that uses natural, evidence-informed methods including nutrition, herbal medicine, and lifestyle support to assist your pet's body in healing and finding balance. It looks at the whole animal, not just the symptom. It is designed to work alongside conventional veterinary care, adding a layer of support rather than replacing it. Many pet owners find it helps address the underlying causes of issues they have been managing for years.
Yes. Naturopathic care is specifically designed to complement conventional veterinary treatment. We strongly encourage all clients to maintain their existing veterinary relationships and continue any prescribed medications unless their vet advises otherwise. Our role is to add a powerful additional layer of support to the care your vet already provides. We will never recommend stopping prescribed treatments.
We work exclusively with cats and dogs. This focus allows us to offer deeper, more specialised knowledge for these two species rather than spreading across a wide range of animals. If you have another type of animal and are looking for naturopathic support, we recommend seeking a practitioner who specialises in that species.
All consultations are conducted via video call (Zoom or Google Meet) or phone. No in-person appointments are available. Before your session, we will send a detailed intake questionnaire to complete. This helps us make the most of your time together and means we can get straight into what matters for your pet. Online consultations are just as thorough and effective as in-person visits, and are available to clients anywhere in Australia.
Every animal is different, but many clients begin noticing changes within 4 to 8 weeks of consistently following their pet's plan. Often the first things you notice are a shinier coat, better energy, calmer digestion, or less scratching. Acute issues can respond faster, while long-standing conditions take more time and patience. Consistency is the most important ingredient.
We will send you an intake questionnaire to complete before your appointment. If you have any recent vet records, blood test results, or previous reports, please have these on hand or send them through in advance. They are incredibly helpful for building a complete picture of your pet's health. The more detail you can share, the more tailored and effective your consultation will be. You know your pet better than anyone, and that knowledge matters.

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the consultation fee.
